Taking Out The Rear on a '92
I'd like to remove the rear seats in my '92 RS, however... it seems a little more difficult than I expected. I see I can take all the panels out by simply unscrewing them but is there more involved then what my imagination is telling me? Is it EVEN possible?

I pulled the rear seats in my 90 in like 5 minutes. Pretty easy...I think you're going about it all wrong...it's not difficult.

Hm, I think I am then. Do I need to take the carpet off first? Is there perhaps something on a site that I look at? I'm more of a visual than anything else really. Like how do you do it? lol

I can't remember off the top of my head, but there's just a bunch of bolts you need to remove. I forget wether I took the backs off first or the bottom cushions. The backs of the rear seats pull down, so pull them down and locate the bolts. Once you get those out, you should be able to see the ones for the bottom cushions. I hope that helps a little
I didn't have a manual or anything when I took my seats out. I just looked for the bolts, and got to wrenching...

oh and if you haven't already, register @ www.g2ic.com it's a forum specifically for 2nd gen integras. You might be able to find some visual aid of some sort there. I'm too lazy to look it up for you right now

i own a integra, but ive never messed with the seats in the rear. anyways my old civic there was black C slips in the bottom corners you had to pull out then slide the seat over and un hook the carpet and the top parts comes off. the bottom there was one screw in the middle and clips that almost look like a J that hook into the body. dont remeber completely how to do taht the easy way. but yea try G2ic.com im registered Sick_DA

I bet you didn't even check out www.g2ic.com I provided you with a site specifically for your car. I don't get ppl these days. Anyways, I did a quick 10 second search and found this bit of info.
Not sure how accurate it is. Wish I still had my da so I could help you more, but if you want MORE info, you are going to have to search for it...I'm just copying and pasting this piece of info:
easiest way it to remove the 2 backrests with the bolts behind the seats then you will see one bolt in the center of the bottom seat take that out and it should slide to you a little bit and out

Oh yah man I went there, checked out everything, from changing lights and engine mods, all the stuff about the gauges and stuff don't worry. Yea I'll try to remember the 10mm bolt. I'll have to check and see now if I have the right sockets and shit. haha. Man and I thought I'd be smoking another bowl, but I guess I can check it all out. Did all the side panelling come out on your car too dude?
