TB for skunk2 IM

I know that a gsr TB will match up to the skunk2 IM but what size TB will allow for optimal flow? I am going NA with a fairly built motor, what size would anyone recommend? Brands?

thank you

Have your GSR TB bored out to 64-65mm(I don't remember exactly how big the IM opening is). A lot less expensive than buying a new one.

The opening on the skunk2 IM is 64mm, therefore if you intend to use a TB larger than 64mm, it is important to have the opening on your IM bored out so that there is minimum air flow turbulence.

I recommend using a tapered TB, My TB is tapered from 68mm to 65mm which is custom bore by JGE. I had my SK2 IM opening bored out 1mm to match the TB.

The purpose of having a tapered TB gives you the higher flow volume of a larger TB, but still maintains the higher flow velocity of a smaller TB.
