Tire's, all shapes, sizes, flavors and colors, Let's be productive shall we?
Let's start an informative post about tire's.
Haven't done anything like this in a LOOOOOOOONG time and it seems slow as Hell here lately with just the same ole.
So...
CAREFULLY READ AND ANSWER EACH OF THE FOLLOWING AS BRIEFLY AND EASILY AND CLEARLY AS YOU CAN AS TO ASSIST ANY FUTURE MEMBERS SEARCHING FOR HELPFUL INFORMATION:
A) Let's, Everyone list what tire's they either Have or Have Had in the past on their Integra. Please list the model Integra and Year. And of course their impressions of them (opinion).
B) Then tell us the size, and even your wheel combination.
C) Then tell us what your use and purpose is/was for these tire's? IE Daily/Street, Competition, Autocross, Track (HPDE) or Drag and of any combination of the aforementioned.
D) Tell us how many miles are on them or how many miles you were able to get on them.
E) How they've worn thus far
F) How you drive rated 1-3
1 being easy never doing hole shots or obligatory drags with the nanny next to you in the family caravan.
2 being moderate, sometimes playing around a bit, maybe even a day at the track or like event but not a regular.
3 being abusive, either an avid racer (sanctioned real stuff) or the everyday overzealous knuckleheaded stuff and including slammed rides that ruin tires in less than 1,000 miles because of horrible negative camber issues.
G) Tell us your area of the country, the weather, the road surface.
H) Tell us how they feel/felt. Are they responsive in your humble opinion? How loud are/were they? Of course these are subjective just as some people feel an open header ain't nearly loud enough since they can still hear their KicKiN bAsE yO but we digress!
I) Tell us price, and or where you got them. Tell us how the service was and or if you'd use the company or online service again.
No Bullshit and no whoring please! This is an attempt to gather some helpful information similar to how a company like Tirerack collects data to share with prospective buyers/customers.
Most of all this is for YOU and to help eachother.
So if you answer, please answer Everything to the best of your ability and knowledge. I will pop in regularly to ask some questions and help when I can.
Good luck hope to see some good stuff.
Remember, this is YOUR community. Be Constructive and Helpful.
A) 1996 Integra GSR-(only had it a few weeks) Goodyear Eagle GT-HR where the only tires Ive used so far. So far so good. Ive got no complaints.
B)205/50-15 on a 94-95 Integra wheel.
C)Daily Driven tires
D)Few hundred miles
E)So far, they show practically no sign of wear.
F)2 being moderate, sometimes playing around a bit, maybe even a day at the track or like event but not a regular.
G)Pittsburgh, Pa. My car sees shitty winter roads, potholes, gravel roads, regular ole roads, and occasionally a dirt road.
H)So far Ive got no complaints. I havent driven too hard on them yet, still feeling out my car. They grip well on dry/wet roads and go ok in small amounts of snow. They are relatively quite on the road.
I)I bought mine at NTB, paid 100$ per tires and had them mounted/balanced and got an alignment from them. I was ripped off and lied too, will never do business with them again.
A.) (1) 1995 SE Sedan BF Goodrich on 95 SE/GSR rims (2) 1995 SE Hatch Kuhmo 711s on 95 SE/GSR rims (3) 1994 LS Sedan - Kumho 712s on 99 Si Rims AND Toyo Proxi's Fz4 on Rota C10s
B.) (1) 195/45/15 (2) 195/45/15 (3)205/45/15 AND 205/45/16
C.) Only Daily street.
D.) (1) 20,000 (Car was totalled) (2) 15,000 (Car was totalled) (3) 5000 (Winter Tires still have them) AND <10 (Summer tires just installed)
E.) (1) Okay thread ware, at 20,000 they were getting there, but holding up fairly well being that it was 20,000. (2) Held up pretty damn good had over 50% left at least (3) Went with another Kuhmo and wasn't dissapointed, good and even ware AND as for hte Toyo's not enough driving to count.
F.) 2 being moderate, sometimes playing around a bit, maybe even a day at the track or like event but not a regular
G.) Kansas, mostly flat roads are pretty good kept newly paved for he most part. It rains moderately so my tires do pretty good in rain. Snow is average nothing like the NE.
H.) None of hte tires were loud, however the BF Goodrichs weren't very good in handling, I.E. fast corners as the kuhmos were. The Kuhmos that I am driving on truthfully aren't very good in the snow, but are great summer/wet tires.
I.) www.tirerack.com I've bought 3 sets of tires from them. They get a big THUMBS UP for their service and quality. Never had a complaint and they have the best customer service.
Kuhmos 711/712s cost about 60~80/tire.

a.) 2001 GSR Coupe, GSR Blades 1. Stock Michelin's 2. Bridgestone Potenza's S-03 Pole Position
b.) 1. 195/55/15 2. 205/50/15
c.) Daily Street
d.) 1. 40,000 2. 10,000 and counting
e.) 1. The Michelin's wore well 2. the Bridgestone seem to be wearing a little faster
f.) (2) being moderate, sometimes playing around a bit, maybe even a day at the track or like event but not a regular
g.) Central CA, good streets, mostly good weather, occasional rain.
h.) Hated the Michelin's! poor grip, chirped at every intersection with a painted cross walk. Love the Bridgestone's stiff side wall, great grip, even in the rain. Road noise... its an Integra.
g.) The Bridgestone's were purchased at Costco for $500, 1 week to special order, fast install, though they did scratch one of my wheels. I would still purchase from Costco again.
Re: Tire's, all shapes, sizes, flavors and colors, Let's be productive shall we?
A) OEM Michelin XGTH4's, 1994 Integra LS, These tires totally sucked ASS.
B) Stock 14" steelies for certain, don't remember lame ass size exactly. It's been awhile.
C) Daily commuting, street, absolutely no competition what-so-ever.
D) Roughly 60,000 miles before seeing considerable wear.
E) They wore forever, I mean they took forever to wear out, and I couldn't wait to get rid of them.
F) Then: 1
1 being easy never doing hole shots or obligatory drags with the nanny next to you in the family caravan.
G) North East, NY, CT. Asphalt, and concrete, with all four seasons, 0 degrees to 100 degrees.
H) They totally sucked donkey balls. They screached, and squirmed all over, provided medium traction in the wet and less than average traction in the snow. Totally Dry? Was a laugh riot.
I) They came with the car (God knows why) and I'd NEVER replace or suggest them with the same. As well, I'm so turned off by Michelin that I haven't bought a Michelin product since, (and I have owned 4 cars since.)
A) michilin energy MX4 on a 1998 LS Integra, i've only had them for about 3 weeks
B) they are on 14" acura alloy wheels and i dont' remember the size
C) so far they have only been used for daily driving but i've taken the car for a few good runs on windy(not windy as in wind) roads and a little bit of parking lot fun.
D) well they are pretty much brand new i think around 2000 miles
E) they look fine to me. no chamber issues due to stock heigh right now =P
F) How you drive rated 1-3
2 being moderate, sometimes playing around a bit, maybe even a day at the track or like event but not a regular.
G) san francisco california, lots of rain, no snow, shity roads(potholes, chunky shit, etc.).
H) so far they have been decent tires. they aren't loud at all when driving. they seem pretty responsive considering the narrow ass width of the alloys. they do really good in the rain. but i really haven't got a chance yet to use them to their full potential
A - 1990 Integra GS Hatchback, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions P205/50/15 up front P 195/55/15 in the rear car handles great tires hook up great pending I'm not launching at 4000rpm+ and I can step the tail out if I want to just really great road hugging tires.
C - My purpose for the tires and combination size is street driving and making curves really fun, I'm using a "grip driver" styled tire setup P205/50/15's up front and P195/55/15's in the rear. I'm about the corners.
D - I've probably put only a few hundred miles on them as I got them right before winter snow and the DA never goes out in the snow.
E - They've worn good considering how I can eat them up if I launch too high...which does happen.
F - My driving style 2-3 its between there somewhere, I beat on it and do some stupid shit here and there
G - Indiana, shitty roads, some nice smooth black asphalt here and there, big pot holes which I try to avoid, when it was raining the tires did pretty good. And the DA doesn't go out in the snow or ice ever
H - They feel like glue sometimes they just handle so well for me. and they're not loud but then again my car is gutted from front to back no sound deadening and its loud...so...
I - I paid around 150$ per tire from Discount Tire company and they had to order them and I had to wait which kinda pissed me off but the tires are worth the wait.
