Too many cranks on start up

Over the summer, 2 cranks, and it would turn on. during the winter, its been taking 4 or 5. i assume this is normal for most cars. today after school, i turned on my car and it took like 7 or 8 cranks. it wasnt awfuly cold out either, maybe only 30-35 degrees. ive started it easier in colder weather. is there something wrong? ill post tomorrow and let you know how it starts up.

i just got this battery like 2 months ago. i think its the same brand that came oem. when it took a while to start, i was close to empty. today, i had a full tank and it started in about 3 cranks in the morning and in the afternoon. does gas level have anything to do with this?

Yeah, if your gas level is really low your fuel lines tend to go a littke weak, and it takes more time to wind up the engine, and don't let the fuel run low its bad for your car. Mine usually starts up in two or less. Check your battery.
