I checked up on eBay, and only managed to find one valve cover that exposed the cam gears for easy tuning. It was for an ITR, and I'm not sure if the ITR head has the cams placed in the exact same position as the B18B does. I'm just looking for one like that, so I can pop it on while I'm at the dyno for easy cam gear adjustment.
You guys know of any sites that sell these things, or am I better off goin to a junk yard and cutting up a stock B18 valve cover?
i was told you cannot use an itr valve cover on a non vtec b18. on the other hand its not hard at all to cut one if you have, or have access to a band saw it only takes a minute
Mods: All stock, for now. Hooked up the stereo though.
Cutting your current is one option- mine is cut and I DD it without any issues. If, for some reason, you want yours to remain uncut, just pick one up at the junkyard and cut it. Do a good job on the cut, so you can sell it later on.
Im suprised your tuner doesnt have a cut VC. My tuner has cut valve covers for the most popular Honda engines (as well as nissan) that he lends out for while he is tuning the engine, and then puts the stock one back on when hes done.

yea, you'll have to cut one yourself. i've got a spare b18b one that i intend to cut for the cam gears. check around locally, you can usually get alot better deals

Yea, I don't drive around the most DD friendly roads, so I'd rather be able to have everything covered up. (Hence the short ram intake and stock ride height). I'll check again with my tuner, or hit the junkyard. Thx.
