there's this guy with a swap of b18c1 in the 98 civic coupe and he said with a turbo, he can put out 350 whp..can this be done? lets say without any much headwork or internal build up..just turbo itself.
I don't think so, I REALLY REALLY DOUBT IT. That would be some crazy boost, and without much work on the engine even if it did, that engine wouldn'tlast a drive down the track.
But I don't know much about turbos really, but I'm pretty sure 350whp on a lightly modded engine isn't very possible.

Let's say on 8 psi on a stock motor with anything modded externally, I pushed 290 whp with a lot of tunning on a t3/t4e. I do not think you can hit 350whp with 8-10 psi. At 10 psi, you could be making a possible of 305 whp. Anything after 8 psi on a gsr motor gets pretty unreliable. You will need more than reliable boost to get 350whp.
Eh saw 712hp Civic B18C Turbo...was running like 30PSI of boost though fully built. 350hp isn't that hard to hit I wouldn't think seeing pretty much 2x that.

He said nothing about stock internals... so I would say YES. There's a turbo LS with a built bottom end but a STOCK head, IM, and throttle body putting out over 400whp on another forum.
