Who should i go through to get a type R bumper for my integra....
i can't seem to find any on Ebay and when i try to find one in for EX. a yahoo search im not sure who i should go through....

i got screwed once before by ordering a bumper from extreme dimentions who i didn't find out how bad they were until the bumper came in...

who would you guys recomend......

even a type R lip or kit would be fine just want a clean look to my stock apearance.......think they R would make it stand out better

JDM ITR or USDM ITR? IF you are looking for usdm type r you already have the bumper, the usdm itr bumper is the same as the 98+ tegs bumpers. The only difference is the lip. You buy that from acura, for about 130 bones. I like the factory lip alot, but then agian I love stock. AS for jdm bumper i would look around and get real oem jdm, not some knock off brand. Also i do not reccommened body kits to anyone that is driving there car 2-3 times a week or more. they mostly all crack sometime and you will never get exact fitmit. i have had 2 cars fully kitted and i drove twice a week and was very careful, and they still cracked. But if you want to go with a body kit, then spend the money for the pricey ones, you get what you pay for.

You can get an ITR lip from Acura for only $130 new? From a dealer??!! I didn't know it was that cheap! That's not painted though right?

good luck finding one at a dealership.

worst comes to worst, check out comptech. they have a copy of the USDM ITR lip for $250 i think.

Aren't the dealers required to supply stock parts though? They probably wouldn't have it in stock, but shouldn't they be required to be able to order it?

I can get one at cost (only for me

.. for 600 bucks painted) .. but I still want to find a stock looking clean rear lip that will look good with the factory Type R kit

well, from what i hear there was a really high demand and then they just stopped making them. i could be wrong though.

They have them still at some places. no they do not stock them they will order one pre-painted. i got the full underbody(that acura made) for 500 shipped. They are very cheap becuase the integra is discontinued. So if you want it you can go to any local acura dealer and tell them you want it and they can order it for you. It my not come in the color you want but any shop will paint it for 80 bucks. That is well worth it in my opionon, but again that is just me. Hope this helps.

I have a hookup at acura.. when i go to get mine.. he's the parts manager at acura.. he said he could get it for me.. now, do I know he's getting it through factory.. or is it he getting it aftermarket.. I dunno but I know its prepainted and he claimed 600 bucks .. I'll get him to double check tommorrow and maybe I'll get some more info.. cause I'd like to know myself too

6 bills is way too much imo.

the most i'd go, comptech version $250 + paint $80, and install it myself.

hopefully I get it even cheaper than that though.

the us bumper is no different then the us itr bumper..just get the lip

if you guys want the fron lip that bad, e-mail me and i will call and see fi they can get me any, if they can, you can send me money and i will order it if you want it. I would guess in the ball park of 225.00 shipped. IT comes pre painted but they may not have your color you want but most shops will paint for 80 bones. Let me know guys.
