Question V-AFC....HELP

hey guys...i tried to use the search but it said that it was disable....neways...iam trying to install my vafc but the wiring diagram from the apex manual doesnt match my service manual...like for the rpm signal from the apex manual it say that its on A21, but in my service manual it says the in A21 is the ignitor...for the power from the apex manual it says that its on a 25 but the service manual says that A25 is fuel pump relay...for the ground the apex manual says its on A26 but in the service manual A26 shield ground ( i think thats correct but not sure becuase it a shield ground not the ecu ground)...is the VTM is that the same as the VTEC pressure switch..if it is them the apex manual match the service manual....also the throttle signal in the apex match the service manaul...is the pressure signal from the apex manual the same as the map sensor...my ecu is p28/p72 and the apex wiring diagram is the h2a.... what location in the ECU is the rpm signal and what wire color is it...thanks for the help. i really appreciate it...any help please thanks again. late

Other people feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm gonna take a stab at this:

I'm pretty sure that the ignitor signal would be the same as the rpm signal, at least I know that on some dynos to get the rpm signal they just get the signal from a coil wire. Also, the fuel pump relay probably has a power wire running to it, and that A25 is probably it. Lastly, A26, shield ground and ground are probably the same thing. I think that you'd be fine hooking it up as the Apex'i manual says, but I've never installed one before. I'd try it as the manual says, or wait until someone who has done one before responds to your thread (my mesage will at least take this topic back to the top, even if it isn't helpful info). Anyways, sounds like it'd be ok to hook up as the manual says for mne, at least that's what I would do if nobody else can give you more conclusive info.

i agree with ghettogsr, i think what apexi says to hook it up to is correct to get the signal, ground and power you need for the unit.
