Ok, I have a 96 Ls Integra...eh about 95k miles on it and everything is great on the car. Except this morning it started experiencing hard shifts from 1st to 2nd then 2nd to 3rd. I replaced the tranny fluid about a month ago, and I dont really race the car often, so I dont think its the lack of tranny fluid. I found this on another post
"got it from T-I.net
Problem #2: I can't shift my car or I am experiencing hard shifts! Solution:
1) Check you clutch fluid reservoir and make sure there is fluid present.
2) Check your hard lines from the CMC to the CSC for any signs of leaking
3) Bleed you hydraulic system to make sure no air is present in the lines.
4) Check under you clutch pedal inside the car where it meets the CMC for signs of leaking fluid (this means your CMC is leaking fluid through a seal and needs to be replaced)
5) If you've made it this far well there are a few more options. Replace you CSC because there is really no way to tell if its good or not, some will leak fluid indicating the problem but most will be sneaky about it.
6) Last and foremost your clutch PP is defective, whether it be bent spring fingers etc. Its time for a new clutch!
hope that help."
This might be a stupid question, but where is the clutch fluid reservoir? Any help would be apprcieated. Thanks.
The Clutch fluid is about an inch full, but there globs of grease or something at the bottem of it, is that normal? If all that is normal, then what should I do?
What i mean is once i get out of first to go down to second it takes literally like...1.5 seconds for me even to get into 2nd gear. by that time my rpm's have fallen and i have to rev to get them back up to where 2nd gear would be ;_;
I need to check mine as well. I've been having the same problem with my upshifts to 3rd & 5th. I get a stick sometimes and they don't go n2 gear on the first go round and reverse has been gettin progressively worse. Even when I put it 2nd gear first then reverse. I may just flush everything, the previous owner only had oil change records, so it may be time for new fluids all around......

I'm having the same problem atm with my teggy, its at acura right now they say its the bushings in the shifter that are cracked and totally worn out. So i'm getting those replaced then they're going to test drive it and tell me if theres anything else wrong with it.
