Mods: All stock, for now. Hooked up the stereo though.
Look at the throttle body. Then look down. Its on the top of the tranny, right by the TB/Intake/firewall area. Its a black plug with two 10mm (i think) bolts. It takes 15mins to replace, and a junkyard charged me $25 for the one i picked up.

I dont see why you would need to. Its an electrical sensor, and a moving part inside the transmission. Ive never seen them get gummed up or anything. I guess you could try spraying some contact cleaner on the electrical part, give that a try.

You know what they say you fix something and the next weakest link in the chain goes not that they are really related but I would just go junk yard shopping I got one for my motor for ten dollars and all I had to do was pull it myself which took me about five minutes.

you can pretty much get one from any 92-96 civic or 94-01 integra.. i got mine out of an automatic 92-96 civic from a junk yard and it works perfectly.. best $5 ive ever spent

Automatic Integras have a different VSS, and im 99% sure the civics do too.
