Lol if u want to call a circle track a roadcourse... its actually pretty rough though. There are portions of the course were it goes into the bank portion of the oval. So the sudden transition from flat to bank puts soo much side loading on the tires I'm scared it could de-bead the tires.

We use to do it at an abandoned airport. It's not as great as it sounds. It was a big opena rea, but the pavemant was all cracked and shit. It made the runs a little rough.

Hmm yeah I could see that. Weeds growing out of the pavement cracks hahaha.
We used to auto-x at a shipping yard parking lot. Pretty uneven at spots. My first event ever, some old VERY SLOW guy in a C5 Corvette at stock ride eight kept scraping his front end on the ground... on part of the course!! On another one I nearly caught air because there was a sudden drop at nearly 60mph. But this weekend will be at the Boeing plant parking lot and the next weekend is from what I understand the last street solo - held on streets instead of parking lots, airfields, or tracks - west of the Mississippi! Which means longer (about 80-90 sec.) and faster runs (last year I hit 66-67mph 3x per run)!

As rough as that track is in the pics above^ thats WOR's SCCA site
Its rough but not as bad as the OVR SCCA two venue's. A baseball stadium parking lot and Ohio State's parking lot. The baseball stadium is tore up with more and more gravel being created as the event goes throughout the day. And at the college there is a huge bump in the middle of the parking lot....needless to say it was a popular spot for spectators. I will try to find pics of my mad flying skills
