i don't know about yalls Tegs but in mine the trunk sounds like i got frekin MICE in the trunk! does anyone else have this noise or is my car just a reject?!

: if anyone knows how to get rid of this i would be most greatfull!

what up, is ur teg a 2 or 4 dr? i never had this problem with my trunk b4 i blew my amp. but ill b more than happy 2 help u out since ur a local. we can meet up somewhere i can check it adn u can check out my 95 gsr

I'm been getting this rattling in the trunk too. It seems to be comming from the power antenna area. Not sure what the hell it is but it is buging the hell out of me too.

hum... sounds to me like your trying to jack me... naw im just kidding, but seriously, i got a white 01' GSR 2dr, droped with H&R sports and Bilstein shocks, Injen cold air intake, other than that nothing extrem

its not a rattling noise, it sounds more like as if there is "loose change/mice..?" somewhere but im pretty sure their isn't because i've looked and found nothing... its real hard to describe what it is bacause i don't know where it is coming from... i was thinking the hatch was loose or something but i don't know, but i think it might of come loose or something because i got a 12" sub in the back and the wired noise gets louder when the bass hits, but i drived around with the radio off and the noise is still there...

anyone ever experience water leaking into the spare wheel compartment after a rain storm?? After it rains I get about a quarter inch of water in my spare wheel compartment. Cant seem to find where the water is entering into the spare wheel compartment?? It is mad annoying. Any clue guys??

your strut bolt in the trunk might be loose, that is what happened to mine, just get a socket set, and a alan wrench, tighten the shit out of them and see if it goes away !

I have the same problem with my '00 GS-R, I found out what it is....open your trunk/hatch and push against the covering that is on the trunk/hatch lid, it will make the noise that you are hearing. Haven't fixed it yet though....I'm thinking about taking the panel off and stuffing some towels underneath.

yeah, i have the same problem.........just like many other teg owner in H-T.....
check the gaskets on your tail lights, make sure that your lights aren't loose.........

stiffer suspension could be the cause of it.....................
where do you have the 12"? is it in box? if you do, is the box secure................?

mine also leaks and like u said many other do but mine (not sure about s15dc2) doesn't come from the lights, i pulles everything in the back off and there no signs of water running in through there everything up and around there is dry so i think is coming in from some where else. plus i took a hose to the back of my teg and spraid it with water from the top all around the window and the lights and no water came in so i am going to just wait for the rain take the tire out, drive and see what happens.

i think (correct me if i'm wrong) that tegs have like a valve to release the air presure when you close your hatch..........that might be something to look at. i'm not sure of the location..........
