Bess doesn't throw many.. Actually hasn't thrown one in the five years I've had her, come to think of it! I've always gone to them with all of them & mom & stepdad's though.

I deal mostly with OReilly. I've had them pull a few codes on customer cars just cause they're way closer to my new place.

When I responded earlier I had misspoke, my CEL light is off, and my maintenance required light is on... which is a non issue. So now I'm wondering what the heck is up... What would a compression test tell me? and what are the signs of an exhaust leak?

Well it's been exactly one month since my last post, and I finally was able to get the time to do some real investigating and work on this problem. Turns out it's an exhaust leak; the gasket closest to the muffler was a rotted to nothing. I felt a small leak in the catalytic converter and the rest of the gaskets probably need to be changed, but I didn't feel anything coming out of them.

Swapped the gasket, and slopped some exhaust pipe glue on the catalytic converter as a quick fix until I can get a new one, and I think I'm good. It was all under $20 bucks too, (ended up snapping both bolts on the coupling so there was an extra $5).

Thanks for the help everyone! =]
