before i bought my new tires, i posed a similar thread with no reply's, so as my little piece of input, if you want an all weather tire, i have the toyo fz4's 205/55/15's and i like em a lot. if you have some extra money the toyo t1-s is a AA traction tire, where the fz4 is a "A" traction tire.
the fz4's stick to the road really well in dry, and drive extremely nice compared to my stock tires.
also heard yokohama makes really good tires too
www.discounttiredirect.com or www.tirerack.com
hope this helps,
good luck

I have dunlop FM 901 tires, and although they aren't the greatest things in the wet (and neither am I), they are a really good tire at a reasonable price, $67 a tire (thats without mounting and balancing). I have a GSR so I got 205/55/15 which are a size wider than stock, but they don't rub or anything. Avoid Goodyear Eagle GT2 tires like the plague, they suck. I went to the tirerack (www.tirerack.com) and they hooked everything up for me. Well, whatever you chose, best of luck to you.

I heard the Dunlop SP Sport 5000s are pretty good. I"m looking into getting those in the 205/50/15 trim as well, but I'm worried that it may not be a great "winter" tire. I understand that there is no great "winter" tire like a true "winter" tire, but I still want some type of performance with the roads dry. Confusing?!? LOL

Also to TEGGSR96, what type of "winter" tire are you using? Are these for your stock wheels? Thanks.

hey, this is kind of off the topic, but do any of you who are using 205/55/15 have your car dropped (i have a 94' GSR)? i have h&r sport (1.5f-1.75r) springs & was wondering if a 205/55/15 tire would work with the STOCK wheels. i've used this setup with aftermarket 15's with a 40 offset & found it to be perfect (handling & no rubbing on the 205/55/15). i've recently purchased some stock wheels thou & with the 195/55/15 tires (goodyear rs-a) it handles like sh-t. i understand the tires make a difference also, but i need something i can use in the winter too. i was using bfgoodrich touring vr-4 (205/55/15) & found them to work very well in the snow as well as everything else. any help would be great. thanks

i dunno if they come in your size, but i have yokohama paradas, and i love them.. but based on countless recommendations from magazines & web boards, i think i'll be rolling on some azenis eventually..
