whats the problem
ok, i have had my integra to a car shop about 4 times in the past 3 months. i just got my car back a week ago and the brakes are already squeeking again. i have taken my car in the times before and got original oem pads put on. they squeeked bad after a couple days. this last time i had gotten the quiet stop brake pads put on and now they are squeeking bad also. when i went to a place like car x to get my brakes checked originally they said that i needed new rotors, when i took it to this other place, they said that i didnt need new ones yet. does anybody know what my be causing these annoying squeeks. could they maybe get stopped by gettin new rotors which would be thicker than my factory rotors.thanks for any replies

Most sqeaks I've ever seen have been caused by the pads, unless there's a burned spot on your rotor. Does your steering wheel vibrate/shake when you're stopping? If so you need to at least have your rotor's turned (shaved down).

Did your car ever sit for a long period of time, without driving, if so the rotor could be Warped. Rust, of debris could also be a factor, i would recomend getting new Pads, and rotors. Install them yourself... You will save money and have some fun also!!!

since the problems have been starting, my car has not sat for a long period of time. i dont think that anything is wrong with the rotors cuz the place inspects them everytime that i take my car in which is every 2 weeks right now cuz they keep on supposedly fixing them. they have also been turned. i dont need new break pads either because the last time i was there they put the new style of quiet stop brake pads($130) on. I would be doing all of this myself except for the fact that my brake pads are stilll under warranty and i got those quiet stop pads for free. thanks. anybody know if just getting new crossdrilled slotted rotors would maybe cure this prob? thanks

did theyb use anti-squeal compound when they put the pads on? IF not, just get a can, take your pads out, cover the back of them in the stuff (you can get it at any auto parts store) and put them back in the caliper). That's the only idea I can come up with if your rotors are clean.
