where is cooling fan relay?

1987 integra LS, no A/C. Manual shows relay at front right engine compartment behind headlight. Not there. Have removed air filter housing, headlight, radiator reservoir - traced wire from fan motor, appears to oin harness. No sign of any relay. Could it be in wheel well, behind cowling? Any help?

Nope, thanks, but it's not there. That is where the radiator reservoir is located, which I removed, but found nothing.

The wires from the fan motor run in a small sheath along the base of the radiator, going to the right (passenger side). Then it goes up between the battery and the back of the headlight housing.

In between the air filter housing (behind the battery) and the back of the headlight housing, it joins a larger sheath of wires which runs behind the battery, beneath the air filter housing & along the wheel well wall.

There are multiple offshoots from this sheath after that, and a large cylindrical connector which has maybe a dozen separate wires (including the black & yellow wire from the fan motor) running into the top of it.

The only other place I can identify the black & yellow wire is where it goes into one of two connectors, in their own separate black plastic cover which attaches directly to the side of the ignition coil, on the side next to the wiper motor.

There is nothing that even resembles a rectangular 4-prong relay anywhere in the whole area. If there is a relay at all, it's got to be somewhere else, maybe combined with other relays.

Still looking for help.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, checked other side, but so much stuff over there, I can't see unless I get it up on a lift. My suspicion is it has been combined with other relays into some kind of master box that I can't find or identify from my manual. Guess I'll have to ask a dealer.

Thanks anyway. Will post any answer I get.
