Welcome!
I bought my friend a Bomz intake for his V6 Probe just for a laugh, but we were pleasantly surprised that the piece was actually quality, and sounded great. No clue about the Bomz filter, but it was bent nicely and was good enough as a starter intake.
Any plans for the future with it? Keep posting around here.....it's getting pretty quiet nowadays.....

The intake was the first thing I did... so being a noob I went with cheap but ended up liking it just the same. My friend has one on his maxima so he gave me the idea... as far as future plans, I'm looking into getting a supercharger maybe next summer, or sooner =P but I don't know much about the ECU so I've been e-mailing around to see what people recommend. I know I'll need an VAFC and some sort of OBD1 conversion. I actually made a post yesterday asking for help, haha. Anyways, that's it for now!
How about yours? Black was my dream color ;P

Where's a good place to find the p28 chip... what's the dif between neptune and chrome? And yes, tuning is definite!
As far as boost goes, (apparently I'm still semi-noob)...I didn't know you could mess with the boost of a sc. Unless you're telling me to go turbo...? lol

btw i realized how much of a tard i sound like... i understand what is meant by "boost" with a sc. so pretend i never said anything lol. also i got an estimate for everything i need to get the sc in and tuned around 4710. is that a major rip off or a pretty decent price...?

fuck that noise. for 4710 you would have a custom turbo kit installed and tuned making 300whp or more.

hmmm well i may end up doing a turbo instead. apparently JRSC are faulty and break before their time. ugh. can anyone recommend a dif supercharger brand that's well known, dependable, and decently affordable...? also what should the cost be for the project? that 4710 included the high boost system, injectors, spark plugs, hondata s300, fuel pump, install and tune...

i considered the vortech... but apparently skunk2 is merging with some other company to make super chargers. they've made the s2000 so i'll wait around til they make the one for my car. o ya, and turbos are out lol... i'll still consider the vortech though. thanks!
