Integralover is an unknown quantity at this point
tech wrench Why is the the RPM to high on my car after i swapped my engine

I just Finish swaping my engine and when i turn on my car it starts to go to 4,500 RPM and then it goes down to 2,000 after a while....How do i keep it in a steady RPM..its suppose to be in 1,000..can any body give me any hints on what can be doing this to my engine..thanks in advance

well let me tell you i had the same problem but it would not idle as much as 4,500rpm...it was around 2,500rpm.
i would check the distributor make sure you have the right one OBD1 or OBD2.
also you might need to adjust the FIVT, which is located right on top on the throttle body (use a flat head screw driver)...try these two and let us know.

check the above along with tps and iacv. make sure the tb and everything else is on nice and tight.
