300 dollars for what??????????????? Those are crack prices. Where i am i get my shits changed for about 125 including glass and labor. GO TO THE JUNKYARD. Go find a glass shop and find it used and negotiate with them. If you pay 300 dollars for it you deserve to be robbed. infact just this summer my boy got his windshield done on his bmw for 130.
My fellow ny'ers will attest to the junkyard behind shea stadium. That place is a gold mine. I had a broken drivers seat in my teg and i got another seat for 60bux. but i had to put it in myself. still not a bad price.

Try looking around for other prices. Also, I would suggest not trying this yourself. If you don't put it in right, it will leak and be a saftey hazard if you get into a wreck.... At the very least, have one of your friends that has done stuff like this before try to help you.
Plenty of places out here want $250+ for the glass.. That's the good thing about having a business insurance account.. All vehicles' windshields replaced for $10 per vehicle
Best bet is to call around.. You can see if it will be covered by insurance, but for a $500 Deductible (That most have) its nowhere near worth it.
