WTF! cataytic conv. fell off?

i was driving normally, all of a sudden i hear a loud ( air burst ).
i look and my catalytic converter had completly falled off from the rear section.( it was still bolted on in the front ). had to go back home and tighten the bolts. :noo
anyway thought i'd share

I was drivin my accord one day and my muffler kinda just fell off... same deal but it was just kinda hangin onto the bumper... i thought i heard something weird but i would have never thought my muffler would be just kinda chillen like that...good thing i had my buddy drivin behind me and he got me to pull over. I was just in awe on the side of the highway... an easy fix tho

no bolts where loose. the only damadge is the pipe being draged, cause it was hanging.

thats really weird, why would a piece of exhaust just fall off like that? have you been working on it recently? hit a bump on the road? etc?

it's the stock pipe, and yes the bolts where loose. i'm just waiting on my apex N1
