7900gto! almost gtx speeds and cheaper than 7900gt
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130065
can you believe this! only slightly slower than the 7900gtx (650/1320-gto - 650/1600-gtx)... and cheaper than the 7900gt... what a deal! only problem being that the card is a limited production item... so snag one (or 2) if you can... wish i could!

Yeah it's a great card....I wonder how much you can OC the memory though....660mhz is a bit slow in comparison. But all in all, a great card!

It's much better than the 7900GS. It has a significantly higher core clock and twice the video memory.

cool thats comparable to my 7900GT KO superclocked! Sounds like awesome cards!
(i can get 710/1820 stable, but temps are low 80s centrigrade...too high for me even though it's well within max temps and it doesnt' artifact.)

Is this card better than the 7950gt card? Also is a new card coming along soon?

7950GT & 7900GTO
it's close, but 7900GTO wins.
nvidia hasnt said when, but some places are saying mid november for the 8800GTS & GTX.

Anyone got any idea on the prices of the 8800's? Yeah from the reviews on newegg everyone seems to say the same thing. Thats some amazing speed , and from the sounds of it , it runs cool and has extra items on it to be quiet and cool. So overclocking is easier as well?
Maybe thats why its the GTO for overclockers?

It should be decent for overclocking...not sure what people are getting with it but if it uses a GTX core I believe it's only got 1.3 volts running through it so you are limited by that unless you voltmod it.
