I have a LiteOn CD-R/RW DVD+R/RW burner, and it works great... but will I be able to burn on these discs? I need to make a DVD that holds more than the standard 4gb. I have a bunch of home movies I want on a single DVD.
Will this LiteOn DVD burner burn DL (Dual Layer) discs??? I couldn't find anything in the manual about DL discs... I just want to make sure there is no software or drivers required to do this. I don't want to mess shit up.
lol, well i got it from newegg or tigerdirect a long while back and they no longer have my order histories. sooo...from looking at it on the underside from inside the computer (not pulling it out). It does say this:
DVD+ReWritable
DVD+R
DVD+RW DL
CD -/+ R/RW
DVD R/RW
UltraSpeed ReWritable
If you can burn to DVD+RW DL, you can most likely burn to a DVD+R Dual Layer disc. but for a more accurate listing of what your burner can do, type in the model number of your burner found in your Device Manager at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters so you can see what your burner is capable of.
