ProjectCivic is on a distinguished road
it removes all the spyware shit on your computer so you don't get annoying popups and other freaky shit at random times, etc. Good program to have.. run it like once a month and you're good to go.

On my test machine I had a chance to test the new Ad-aware 6 and Spybot 1.1. I completely setup Ad-aware to scan all 10 drives. It took almost 10 minutes to scan 74228 objects. Ad-aware detected 80 objects and could quarantine all but 2. I cleaned my system of those nasty little buggers then ran Spybot. I kept the default settings and it only scanned 4218 objects. Spybot was able to detect 80 additional objects which took almost 6 minutes to complete. Fixing the problems took a few minutes, the objects that Spybot couldn’t fix at the present time due to the objects were still in use by memory, were corrected at my next system reboot. Ad-aware is a little bit easier to setup from the start then Spybot, but overall Spybot has more to offer. Another advantage with Spybot, it tells you what the actual object is, what it does, and how deadly it could be. In the end Ad-aware looks brighter but still has its holes. It is very user friendly and is suitable for a beginner. Spybot has more to offer and detects and fixes what Ad-aware leaves behind. A good recommendation would to have both installed. Run Ad-aware then run Sybot.

OMG i bet my computer will run faster. 171 fucking object.....HOLY ISH..

Also guys a little tip on removing those un-removable files. Goto run , hit msconfig. Goto boot.ini , and check the /safeboot box.

Then all those unremovable files can be removed via any program you choose. Its sometimes best to cut the chase , boot in this mode first and run any ad ware or manual removal then.

Also to reload in no safemode....Just uncheck that box. You might also have to take a look at the general area and make sure its loading standard....
