Another problem

Well, I'm sitting here typing this wondering what I will call it, and well.... It doesn't have a topic.

So my problem is:
Anytime I scroll, the page kinda "flashes" or when I watch a flash movie--the object will move, but at every frame change it flashes that area. On links with cell spacing onMouseover flash. And just about every animated .gif.
I have no clue how it started, I turned my computer on after skol one day, and it was like this. I also wish I could provide a screen shot, but it doesn't last long enough to get one... and i've tried.

Specs:
AMD k62 500mhz w/3dnow!
56mb ram
7gb hard drive
17" viewsonic monitor (I think, nothing says it though)
Good 'ol Windows ME

Thanks guys

I'd try getting some more ram in there, something like bumpin' it up to 128.

It could be your videos drivers as well. Update or roll back. Take your pic. I would update first, if that doesn't work, reinstall the card.

it was working fine before, not a single problem running games or anything.. but until about a month ago, it just started happening.... as for an upgrade of RAM.... no extra slots, its filled with the 56mb, I think its just time for a whole new computer:

Am i reading this right, do you mean 256 or 56? if its 56, you need more memory, im assuming u have 3 slots and u have 32, 16, 8?? through that memory away and get new ones, that will be the cheap solution, or you can build a new computer. (what games can you play with 56MB
