anyone taken the cissp exam??

just wondering if anyone here has taken it. gotten mixed reviews on it, and i want to make sure i'm ready to take it before i drop the $500 of my own money to not pass... basically just want to know some more opinions. i've heard it was very broad but not real technical, and i've heard that it was very tricky.

one thing i want to know is how the test is administered? breaks? or is it just one six hour session you have to do all at once without getting a break?

not taken, but ive done alot of the training exams the shit is crazy, make sure you really know your shit before you do it, alot of these exams want you to know things that YOU SHOLDNT KNOW unless youve been in the field for a year or so they ask things that you dont learn in class, and they ask alot of trick questions............almost like a bored programmer wrote the tests to piss you off cause hes got a job and you dont, it really is fuked up cause you may know the real soloution to the problem, but the test doesnt think so, real world soloutions do not apply in tech tests they only want whats in the book

one of the requirements to be cissp certified is that you HAVE been in the field for like 2-5 or 3-5 years or something, otherwise you can sit in on the exam and if you pass get an internship with (ISC)2 for that time, then be certified...
