Barton 2600+??

My 2200+ just went out on me today so I went down to the local pc store and was going to pick up a 2500+, but they didn't have any. The guy suggested a 2600+ but I wasn't interested because I wanted the Barton core. He said this 2600+ just came out and it is Barton Core. So I bought it. Runs pretty fast, I will mess around with overclocking later (btw, any suggestions about FSB and multiplier settings is appreciated). My question is, how long has the Barton 2600+ been out, cause I never heard of it until today.

Eddie

edit: I forgot to mention, the sticker says Barton 2600+ and the L2 cache is 512 kb, checked it on PC Mark
