bit torrent with school connection

does nay body know which ports i should use to get faster speeds.

right now i have
49152
65535
which was fast at home but not so much here

having a faster connection isn't gonna do much, it's mostly about how many other people ur downloading from. one person is slow, than it just gets faster and faster once it connects to more people. don't expect 100kb/sec speeds

Here's what im currently getting and yes I AM DOWNLOADING Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie!!

I get that speed most of the time, not bad for a basic dsl setup.

theres no point of opening that many ports unless your opening the doors to hackers. Id say keep it at 6881-6889 if your downloading 8 torrents at the max.

well i didnt really mean open 6881-6999, i just suggested the minumim port and the maximum port to open, you can select your range to your personlization, but its usually 6881-XXXX

and besides, im pretty sure you everyone has firewall.
