ok the computer i have now is great works fine, but what would you guys do if you had a ton of spare parts lying around? would you build a storage computer or would you just add more stuff to the one computer. i have a HD lying around, some power suppplies, etc. i know that i can't use the power supplies, but i can add the hd's and memory. or just buy a case and a motherboard and build a whole new one for fun?
If you have enough memory/storage space in your current machine then you could build another, but do you have a use for it? Whatever would be more worthwhile i guess.
And if the extra parts are almost enough for a whole machine you could build another and then sell it too i guess
(if i was going to keep them i would just improve on the one machine)

Thats what Im doing. The ONLY thing I need is an lcd screen. And, it just so happens that alot of people at mp3car.com use the 7" lilliput touchscreen on ebay for 200.
Other than that, I would just add it to your current PC. No reason to have another tower hogging space.
building new computers out of parts is part of the reason I own 4.5 computers. The 0.5 computer is the next one that will be put together. One computer is for general use, one sits on p2p all day, one sits in the car doing its carputer thing. Only the laptop doesn't have swapped in bits.
