IIght, I got 700 bucks comin to me. I want to build a bad ass computer for 700 bucks. Heh... Seems like it wouldnt be that bad ass but better than my 100 dollar computer i got now.
Basicly, what site can i got to, to order a compter? I dont have a problem building myself either. I dont need a monitor, nor mouse, or even a keyboard. I got all that stuff. I'm def looking for an AMD system. I dont want to use pricewatch.com since it's so damn confusing.

$700 is an easy budget to shoot for while getting a fairly bad ass computer. Poke around at www.newegg.com to get a rough idea of prices. If you take a bit of time, you can watch for deals and get stuff at madd cheap prices. BTW, crucial DDR ram is damn cheap this week so you might want to get a jump on that now.

ok, saw in your post that you're comfortable in building your own system.
well for starters...go to newegg.com
order their OEM xp1700+ Thoroughbred B chip....absolutely awesome chip... it's ~47 bucks shipped...
team it up with the thermalright slk-800 heatsink...which is 38 bucks shipped...and choose from any one of their quiet 80mm heatsink fans for another 5 bucks or so.
get their NVIDIA nforce 220 board which is currently on sale for 72 bucks shipped...great board (has 5.1 dolby onboard sound and video, but you don't need the video)
pick up their Sapphire ATI Radeon Pro 128 meg ddr card...absolutely awesome card.... possibly second best gaming card on the market...it's 180 shipped.
get a 256mb stick of corsair xms extreme memory speed series pc3200 c2 OEM with heat spreader for 98 bucks shipped.
this is monster stuff that is rock solid at 200 mhz bus speeds :awesome:
this will certainly allow you to fully test out how far your xp1700 chip can go (most likely xp2400+ speeds)
if you buy two 256mb sticks, your system performance will be beast due to the fact the Nforce chipset thrives on 2 sticks of ram.
buy the antec atx12v 400 watt powersupply with 2 fans which is 62 bucks shipped.... your power supply is one of your most crucial factors, and this antec power supply will provide more than enough power...they are some of the best around.
that's all about 500 bucks shipped...that leaves 250 bucks to get any cool plexiglass neon case you'd like...or any add-ons you'd want...
and let me tell you, that system I just mentioned there above is one of the best gaming platforms money can buy you....dell, or any other company for that matter...can not touch the quality and performance of those components.
I dont really want a gaming PC. I'm more into image editing although i play games on the side.
I want a computer than can handle 10 IE windows open, both psp and adobe, and maybe gta3 minimized in the background. and have enough juice to copy n paste huge edited layers in psp and adobe.

for image editing...high fsb is what you're aiming for. Also video quality...and ATI's 2d and 3d quality are far superior to NVidia.
the system I noted is Godly for that...simply because the ram is stable to 200+mhz speeds (just lower your cpu's multiplier).
It seems like you'll need some ram...so I'd suggest you get two 256meg sticks of the aforementioned ram...remember quality before quantity...you don't want to dish out cheap money for cheap ram that'll crap out on you in the middle of a project.
That rig is pretty much the best that money can buy for that price range...definitely an awesome value.
flip, what ram do you recomend with that system? You said 2 sticks of 256, but from who? what company and such? with that extram money, why not get more ram? might be a lil more expensive but i might be able to squeeze it out.
