Well I happen to come across a guy that works for dell that really hooked me up. He gets his computers at cost, so I gave him a list of what I wanted on a computer and it came back being cheaper than if i built it myself doing the labor and everything. I came out with a pretty nice little machine, I'll list the main things, tell me what ya think.
Obviously it came with vista and all the other essentials a PC needs to run. Anyway, I just had him order it so it should be coming in soon. Can't wait, My computer now is getting old
You really don't need/should do a raid 0 on such a big hard drive. Doing a raid 0 on such a big hard drive isn't the best thing to do. I don't have any links to back this up. But if you think about it, why would you want to waste money on doing a raid 0 on such a bid drive? You don't really need to put 1TB as a main drive. That is just asking for trouble. I don't know of dell sells raptor drive, but I would rather do a raid 0 on a pair of raptor drive and use a single 500gb as a back up drive. If no, I would just buy a pair of raptor and setup the raid yourself and use the pair of 500GB as a back up drive.

sorry i didn't specify, its a total of 500gb. so 2x250 gb
at one point in my life i woulda said woah 500 gig is way overkill......then i found rapidshare.......long story short i have a 80 gig internal drive filled to 78 gigs, and a external 250 gig drive packed full as well and i just need more space!!!! crazy how that works

i've got a data server with 2 Tb of space and it's about 2/3 full . . . but i have about 500 gigs of web stuff backed up one drive, then the rest is movies, music, games, shows... business class cable modem ftw.
