Burner Dont Work

i have a lite on 52x24x52 pretty nice and im burning at 24x with Nero burning rom it gets to about 5 percent freeezes locks up my computer and i have to restart and it tries eating my cds sometimes?? could it be the shitty cds?? i used them on my dells burner it wont

does the burner support the buffer underrun protection?any programs running in the back when burning?did u try burning at a slower speed?what brand of disks u using?also sounds like a problem with nero,I used to have problems with it sometimes,its a great prog for burning,but it does have its share of bugs that need to be worked out

yes it supposrts buffer

i was burning half of what my burners capable of

do you get the erro all the time? sometimes, errror will happen. Shitty cd

Reinstall you burning program or get a new one. Also make sure NOTHING is running in the background. Press control+alt+del and make sure nothing is running besides explorer, systray, and your burning program. But i say reinstall you nero and it should fix it. And what speed HD do you have, 7200?

hmm....that's really strange. I've never heard of a problem like that before. Try downloading the lastest firmware from www.liteonit.com and see if it helps at all.

like Ix dOc xI said,try reinstalling it,the versions of nero that come with liteon drives will only work with that specific drive,also check your systems tab,and see if you have updated drivers,my liteon has never given me any problems so far,and try a different brand of disks,although this does sound more like a software problem
