Can someone help me????

Well last month i installed windows xp to computer i did it wrong so all my old stuff didnt get deleted and when i go to my computer it has the c drive that has all my old stuff and theres also another drive called D and when i d/l something it goes to the D drive and i dont want it to go there

Is there anyway i can delete the d drive or make everything i d/l go to my c drive??????????

First if you wanna delete everything then you would have to format. this is done by going into the bios and setting your cdrom to boot first. you then put ur xp cd in and boot the cd. follow instruction for format.

exactly how are u downloading? if u downloading watever from the internet then it does give u an option where u would like to put your stuff at. just dont choose D directory. if you're using a program to download something then go into the options/preferences and change the download folder.

if the D drive is a partition then recombine it to the C drive. use partition pro magic. it sucks but it works. its easy to use. just backup all ur stuff first.

Basically Windows installed itself onto a new partition. You need to perform a "D, ENTER, L"
I never thought of it D, Enter, L abbreviates to DEL.
