can't access add/remove programs????

hey all....
This problem started yesterday....

When i try to click on add/remove programs this error pops up...

I know their it is not because of a virus or spyware ect....hijacked type of stuff... cuz i scan every day as i did yesterday and found no problem...also did the obvious active scaners such as housecall and panda express every day and yesterday it didnt find any problems as well as my firewall/virus protection...pc cillin internat security 2005...and the other spyware shit i got on my computer....i update them all together have a program that launches the programs and their updates so i dont need to do it individually in order to have my safe pc

anyway i have ACE utility in which u can remove programs....and this works....but whats the point to go to a program to do the process in control pannel....add/remove...

just lazyness i guess anyway any suggestions to fix this...?

computer works fine beside this....cuz its referring the problem to something in windows/system32 which are mostly os used files....or such

I really havent put much thought and effort to fix it yet.....u can use complex tech terms lol ill understand too cuz in a techeee tooo lol

its a no go.....Cuz it didnt work...

Now heres what i want....actually im fine with using ACE utility to uninstal programs....its just the windows components thing which is located within add remove as a seperate option...

that site the way they explained it breifly is basically the problem i am having yo
Iight it didnt work cuz
it didnt find that it was a valide file after copying those comands into comand promt....which came to a message of some being sucesffull and most say the proccess was unsuccesful...

i also tried the comand to uninstall ie but i need to get add remove software for that n their command they posted doesnt work soo that doesnt help....um...i have in the past actually uninstalled ie cuz i use firefox i as well put firefox as my default application

the reason i would like this working is to access OS components to instal them and to set defaults on programs like as firefox as my default windows driver

I had ie 6 installed....this computer is windows xp home edition sp 2 only user of the computer so have admin privlages dunno if that helps
