cant read
When I start my computer, the Cd burner and the DVD-rom do not read when I put a CD in to burn, or a divx anime copy to play on my divx player..any ideas on what might have happend?

nothing there.. the cd drives dont even exist under "my computer"

This happened to me once because I had a bad IDE cable, like I said if you've got into you computer recently you might want to check and make sure everything is pluged in correctly. Othey then that I don't have a clue

uninstall and reinstall the drives.
check if you have the right drivers.
if it still doesnt work, reformat and try another OS. After that, and it still doesnt work, than its time for some new hardware.
