Exclamation Can't Read .PDF File

ok so i tried viewing a PDF file online, I have Adobe acrabat 5. It says that i should try a newer version because it wont load all of the document.. I downloaded version 7.07 and i tried installing it and it gives me an error message halfway through the installation saying "error 1402. Could not open key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\pdf.pdfctrl.6\ CLSID" I even went through the toruble of finding it in the registry and the value for it is just a long random code. I want to get this document loaded and printed, is there any other way other than adobe to look at pdf files? thanks

Did you uninstall Acrobat 5 before upgrading to 7? Try uninstalling both (if they exist) and reinstalling it.
