Does anyone know where I can get a decent CD burning software from online for free? I have this damn Roxio something other that came w/ the dell. But no matter what it always has this buffer underrun shit. I went to download.com and downloded "acoustica MP3 CD burner" And it's awesome! It didnt look like a trial. But once I finished burning the damn CD, a box pops up saying "7-more days left!"

I had a problem with my dell also trying to burn using roxio....
but becareful going to something else for burner software. When I did that the cd's I burned could not be read on other computers that didn't have "directCD" drivers. I replaced the cd burner in the dell and the problems were fixed. I think it's mostly a problem with the burner. I had the dell 4600 or whatever from like several years back.

WMP can burn mp3 files onto ur cd but i dont know have you ever tried copying cd to cd?
for programs and cd to cd i use nero. if im burning mp3s to cd ill use WMP

nero will burn images of any cd to the HDD and then you just burn it on a CDR later. I use Nero platinum for everything... burning MP3 DATA cd's is a motherfucker though because there is no way to sort/organize the listings in nero when doing an MP3 cd, it goes by "title" which totally blows!!
I haven't tried iTunes because doesn't itunes check for liscenses on mp3's before you burn them or something?
