Commonly used programs/hardware that does not work on Vista

I am about ready to jump on the Vista boat but I want to know what are the "known" problems of Vista. Instead of me googling every program that I use to see if it works or not I think this post can help me and others who plan to switch but are not sure because of the compatibility issues. When I say problems I mean something like a program that worked on XP but didn't work on Vista. Or a printer or something that used to work on XP but didn't work or work fully with vista because of the driver or something.

Please only respond to this if you have Vista and IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

If you have a problem with a commonly used program or hardware that does not work please try to answer these before you post.

On the first line of your post use BOLD on the title like this:
Epson RC1 300 Printer won't print in color.

What OS version of Vista is it? Is it 32 or 64 bit?
Some hardware specs...(mobo, cpu, ram, video card, sound card...)
Specs of the program/hardware. Like what version is the program and what model number is the hardware.
What is the problem and what did you do to try and solve it.
update if you solved the problem.
Anything else that you might want to add.

i ran into my first problem last night at school.

old school dell projector. unsure of the model number
Vista Ultimate 32bit
1GB RAM
AMD x64 cpu

there seemed to be an issue with the refresh rate on the monitor and the rate the projector recieved and processed the signal.

i plugged the projector in the RGB port on my laptop and it displayed fine, then at random times it would start flashing on my screen and on the projector display. I had to unplug it, wait until my laptop returned to normal, then plug it back in. after about 20 times of doing this, it finally died and would display nothing but a blue screen

We had some Microsoft reps at the school to demonstrate Vista a while back, and they had the same problem.

Only issue ive encountered.

I heard limewire does not work, can someone comfirm this? I was told that if you run limewire it messed up the background and some other stuff on vista where you have to reboot the cpu or something.
