hmm i got my amd durron 1.3ghz for 50 and my mobo for 100 ram was 50 but a good case with a 350w ps is around 80

i got most at frys and the others at the computer shows

that's a good price, but i would never buy a duron. They have very little cache.

the ecs k7s5a is a pretty good motherboard for the basic computing person.

However, the k7s5a has been well known to be a pretty buggy board (with exception to perhaps their new revisions)...and it lacks majority of the options that overclockers want (io voltage, cpu multiplier, lack of fsb's, etc). They're also known to be quite picky about power supplies.

I had one a couple months back and had a few cold booting problems...nothing unbearable...but it's a very basic bargain board.
