computer gurus, i need your help

Hey computer gurus i need your help. I have limewire and kazaa and have been using it for years. I recently install norton antivirus and norton antispam. So now I think something is wrong with my firewall because when i seach for something in either limewire it finds 0 results and if I use kazaalite it finds the thing i'm looking for but it doesn't download. It just says connecting...

I know a thing or two about computers but I'm still a noob with somethings, someone please help.

Id actually just shut down the norton firewall and windows firewall if you are running them, that should allow the data to transmit/recieve

i'm too lazy to provide good answers because they get technical and i don't know how "deep" their computer ninja skills are, hehe. uninstalling antivirus would be easy, muhaha i never use antivirus and i never have problems, i just run a software firewall, xp firewall, and my hardware firewall (router)

it isn't the antivirus, it's the firewall. you need to open up the ports that limewire and kazaa use

yes, i know norton blocks ports and programs from comming in. Just disable norton and see if that works and dont forget to unblock it from windows firewall also.
