Computer Help!! Virus?

Ok so I have a dell notebook 5150 with 512mb ram and 3.06 processor. My computer's cpu useage spickes and dives like crazy. It is consentley acting like it dosent have enough meomory and while im typing this my computer is not keeping up with me typing this. When I play a song it acts like it dosent have enough memeory and it slows down and glitches and just fucks up. So what the hell is wrong with my computer? And it will just like shut itself down and i cant do anything no keyboard function or anything and the screen is still up with a display. So ay help?

msconfig - disable startup items (except antivirus if you have any)




And run a FREE Panda Active Scan to detect and remove viruses
IMHO Panda has the best online virus scan service

nothing is showing up in taskmanager as taking up much memor or cup so i have no clue.
