get a boot disk, when it gives you the options to boot hit Shift F5 for command prompt.
at the A:\ prompt type:
fdisk
at the screen hit yes or whatever, choose option number 4 to view the partition, escape out of that and hit 3 to delete the partition and selecte the appropriate number to delete it (should be #1, then just do what it asks). Exit back to the command prompt (esc, esc, esc..), and type
fdisk /mbr (i do it 3 times just to be sure but once should be enough)
take out the disk, restart, put in the win xp cd and it should boot to that.
how old is this computer though? putting XP on it might not be the brightest of ideas...hit me up on aim if you got any questions.
