Copying Programs

I want to know if any of you guys have ever copied programs from another computer .........i mean i already tried to get some programs like Photo Shop and Illustrator but it seems that i didn't copied all the necessary files and data so it could be installed in my computer and run correctly . I open...C:\Program Files\adobe\Photoshop cs...and i copied everything in there...however it could not be installed in my computer........i don't know what else would be necessary......Photoshop, illustrator, and this program i found to be like illustrator called CorelDraw (version 11) is what im trying to get ...........I hope some one knows what is necessary to make this kind job........thanks for any help you guys can give me

umm... you can't just copy programs that easily.. there's a reason why it's harder than that.. if it were that easy, think of the possibilities.. anyways, there's registry keys made, certain processes run, etc.. when a program is installed on a certain computer.. essentially, you'll need the install file and/or disc..

i know some of those things but i believe there is a way........one of my friends copied Photoshop from his computer i could run it on mine.....it was Photoshop 7.......however im aware of the registry staff and all of that........

If you download photoshop your going to get a certain amount of files. If you copy those and put them on your computer, then run the file that say Setup, then yes it will work.

If you simply copy and paste the folder from program files it wont work.
