office depot has a deal where u buy one 15 pack verbatim DVD-r u get one free. limit one customer. try to find a cool associate that will let you buy more than 1. if u do and buy 6 packs(3 you pay for 3 is free) you can use a $20 off $75 coupon that can be found on http://www.spoofee.com/index.php?section=coupons

i don't know if u can take the number to the store and let them enter it or something but who knows.. it might work. buying 6 pack will come to a total of around $90(90 dvd-r) apply that coupon and it will be $70( 78 cents per DVD-r). i think that's a pretty cool deal. i bought 4 pack of it today. but i didn't know about the coupon. i might go get some tomorrow.

oh if the $20 of $75 don't work u can use the $15 of $75 which comes out to 84 cents a dvd-r which is still pretty good. but yea if anyone knows if u can bring that online number to the store let me know

edit: -R is 2x and +R is 4x

EDIT AGAIN: my friend tried this at two office depot and they wouldn't do it. said they might get fired or something. but there's a printable coupon somewhere that u can bring in and use it instead of the online coupon. i forgot the link though. eh i guess this isn't such a good deal cuz it's too much of a hassle. oh well i'll look out for a better deal.

Why would you need that many dvds?
the best deals ive seen is on Livewarehouse.com , 25 spindle 4x dvd-r for $26 shipped. yeah you can get better price if you buy 100 freaking DVDs but who wants to spend that much if you doesnt need it.

it's for people who burn movies and/or burn games. i have used up over 100 dvd-r in 3 months. so yea... some people need/want it.

most games can be fitted on a cd-r. Plus I rather put 4 games on 4 cd-r at 1c a disc than to put them all on a dvd at almost a dollar a disc. So your argument of burning games just went out of the window.

As for Movies, I dont know how big of a movie fanatic you are. Personally, there are above 2 good movies coming out everyweek. I dont see my self burning any more than 10 movies each month

i burn ps2 games which mostly use DVDs. Not to mention DVDs are going to be used for alot more things in the future. I have been leveling off burning a couple DVDs a month instead of burning a couple everyday when i first got my DVD burner. DVDrs are expensive, no doubt. so when u see a deal might as well stock up instead of wasting money. 77 cents a DVD vs 1 dollar a DVD adds up when u download/burn/collect as much as some people do.

pc club has a deal going on 25disk Ritek dvd-r 4x for 20bucks i got two and they work great deal ends the 31st

damn there's bunch of negative feedback with that. but along with good feedback. i think i'll just stick with the branded dvd-r.

not really its just their burners cause i got 2packs and my cousin got two packs i have a sony he has the pi0ner we got them at the clairemont pc club if you live in san diego, cause i seen your car around down at mesa but yeha today is the last day

yea i'll check it out today. most of the negative feedback was due to the ink smeres on the dvdr. but since we have a pc club here i can just return it if there's some problems. i searched yahoo and only got the la mesa one

eh i guess i'll just head over there

Actually Ritek is a brand name, and alot of media is rebranded ritek media. I believe verbatim and some TDK's are rebranded riteks as well as many others. Check out www.dvdrhelp.com for good reviews on dvd media

Edit: It seems the first batch were Ritek brand, and the new ones are clear topped generic brand dvd-r media. I suggest going to a store near you if you have one and checking to see if they have the orange topped riteks.
