Dekstop Problem

I built a desktop about 2 years ago which was working fine but recently stopped working. I checked all the connectors but it just wont power up. The power supply is fine because when I unplug the 20-pin connector from the mother board and plug it back it it, the fans and everything comes on for a few seconds but wont stay on. I checked the power button and even tried to short the jumpers but none worked.

Any suggestions?

Or do you have a Digital Multi-Meter(DMM)? Test the power on the connectors like the one you plug into the dvd drive. Test the RED wire, that should be around 5v and the yellow wire should be around 12v.
