I have the Sony DSC-P71 and absolutely love it. I have had 0 problems with it and all the features are absolutely wonderful. picture quality is VERY nice. I highly recommend it.

If i were u i'd get the Canon S30. I've had a Sony P5 and Canon S200, and a Canon S40. I see a very big difference between sony and canon. Canon make better digital cameras then sony. here are some links that should help you out.

http://www.steves-digicams.com/

Steve's digicam has probably the best reviews on digital cameras, they look at everything, they even got sample pictures taken by each digital camera.

http://techbargains.pricegrabber.com...5ad8fc50a05e45

The link above also had the shows a list of websites that have good prices for the S30. The lowest price i found was about $365.99

I did alot of research before i bought my digital camera. I hope this helps you out.
