DVD Burner Question

I want to be able to copy DVD's and I have the software ICopyDVD2 and it doesn't get past the CSS portion. So basically some movies I cant copy. Of course this is only for back-up purposes, but my question is, is there a software that breaks the CSS and bypasses so I can copy all DVD's?

Thanks

Here you go .. http://www.dvd43free.com/ This should fix all your problems. Install this, you will have a happy face down at the taskbar(bottom right of your screen). Activate the program before you burn.. Also how is IcopyDVD2 anyway? Quality??

As far as movies go, I use DVDShrink to copy to my hard drive and Nero to burn the discs. I assume Nero would work for game 'backing up' direct disc copy.

I don't know what CSS is...hopefully I was helpful.

DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are the only two programs you need for movies. for games all you need is DVD Decrypter. read sticky.

well if it's not getting pass CSS then it won't burn any retail movies. CSS is a type of encryption and no retail software is gonna let you break it. just look at what happen to DVDxCopy. DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter are both free software and they will do the job you need. sorry about wasting your money.

If you still want to use your software then you can try using DVD Decrypter to ripped the dvd movie to your hard drive. it should remove the CSS code. Then mount it with Daemon Tools in a virtual drive. Once it is mounted you can use your program and do whatever it does.

it's cool. you can try that alt way to see if it works. if not sell it on ebay or something. i'm sure there's some people out there that wants a program to create homemade dvd instead of "backing up" dvd

Also go and download www.1clickdvdcopy.com(Dl the trial version) this is what I use and I never had a problem "backing up" DVD's. You don't really need any other programs like DVDShrink, etc.
