DVD/CDRW not working
I formated and re-installed windows, i installed all the drivers, everything is up and running. When I went to test the DVD it doesnt play the DVD, it says no CD is present in the drive. Its in the device manager and its working fine what could be the problem?

BOBOtheCLOWN is an unknown quantity at this point
maybe try a diff cd....

does the cd spin up?

maybe the IDE controllers are bad

Does it play regular CDs? if it does, you remember to install a DVD decoder? WinDVD, PowerDVD, etc. if that doesn't work, go to Windows Update
