new laptop, display problems

Just bought a new laptop... Dell Precision M6300. Having problems with pictures and what-not online being choppy and not smooth. I went though display controls and changed everything I know to try and fix it but just isnt working.

specs...

M6300
Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.20GHz 800MHz
Win XP SP2 Media
NVIDIA Quadro FX 1600M 512mb
17" Wide WUXGA LCD
native screen res 1900x1200
2.0GB DDR2-667 SDRAM

Unless your 88-91 CIvic/CRX is RHD and the 4&5 letters in your VIN are "EF", you DONT have a EF.

Wow I didn't know they make a notebook with a quadro video card. Its a long shot but it seems like you are having problems with the video card/video card driver. I know every time I build a computer, the first time that I turn it on it is like that.Everything is choppy when I scroll up or down. But after I install the video card driver it is fine.

Yup, from what I have read and heard its supposed to kick ass for 3d design and such, which is what I want because after I get back from Army training I'm going to look into school for that.

I thought about re-installing the driver, but it's not choppy while scrolling it scrolls just fine, it's just pictures and videos are fuzzy... kinda like if you put a water color painting effect on a pic in photoshop. I'm going to try updating the driver from NVIDIA see if that helps...

EDIT: figured it out. IE Scaling was on, turned it off and everything is good now.
