yes, set up the security on your wireless network through your router setup. what u do is set up a keyphrase, then u are given 4 keycodes which will be needed by any and all wireless devices attempting to connect to your network. even my friends have trouble connecting when they come over with their laptops and i'm even giving them the codes... its that strict. i recommend this for everyone with this type of setup. try typing your IP address in the URL bar, no "www"
one time i was at my friends house trying to connect to his wireless network, i picked up two networks... his, and his neighbors... once connected to his neighbors, i found vacation pics in his shared folder... no harm but its not good that i got in by just turning on my laptop
with my wireless router (dlink 614+) not only do I have encryption (13 letter passcode), but I also have MAC ID filter so even if you had all the info, you coultn't access squat on my network.

very nice. Dlink and Linksys are my favorite wireless equipment
yea just make sure you turn on all security features and u should be good for the most part. also, u can disable 'broadcast ssid' among other stuff. i live in a ghetto area so neighbors i have prolly doesnt even have a pc so i only have wep 128bit encryption and such.

Bah...you can spoof MAC addresses.
Gaining access to any 802.11 network just takes time.
