maybe, it will def. lower your compression. but if your replacing pistons for boost, wouldnt u want to use forged over stock cast pistons?

Yes its for boosting I only want 300wph and it will be dispendious to put forged for only this power.
The pistons that i have is for boosting. Flat head
Mods: All stock, for now. Hooked up the stereo though.
If I were choosing a stock piston, I'd probably go with a P72 GSR piston. The B18B pistons will give you a compression ratio of around 8.5:1, which is good for running high boost, but not for your setup. Since your goal is only 300whp, youll be running relativly low boost, and will want to retain as much power OFF boost as you can. With an 8.5:1 compression ratio, your car will be slow as piss until you get it into boost. a 9.5:1 compression ratio would be optimum. The USDM P72 pistons will give you a ratio of 9.1:1, and the JDM GSR pistons will give you a 9.6:1. Thats your best bet.
